Yaqut Cholil Qaumas is scheculed to officially open the Rakerpim of UIN Jakarta

Rectorate, UIN News Online -- Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qaumas is scheduled to officialy open the leadership meeting (RAKERPIM) of UIN Jakarta on March 8-10, 2021 held at Syahida Inn, Ciputat, South Tangerang, Banten.

According to the Chairman of Rakerpim committee Muhammad Zuhdi, Yaqut Cholil Qaumas  will provide direction regarding the development of UIN Jakarta as one of the state Islamic religious higher education institutions (PTKIN) in Indonesia.

“We also want to listen to the Minister's direction regarding the Indonesian Ministry of Religionious Affairs policies according to the theme of this year's Rakerpim,” said Zuhdi to UIN News Online, Tuesday (03/02/2021).

Another resource person who was asked to contribute his thoughts was the Director General of Islamic Education Ali Ramdhani. He will deliver a topic on “Strategi Pengembangan Sumberdaya PTKIN Menuju Perguruan Tinggi Berdaya Saing Global”. Then the Director General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Nizam, with the topic “Peluang dan Tantangan Perguruan Tinggi Badan Hukum”, as well as the Rector of University of Indonesia (UI) Ari Kuncoro with the topic “Membangun Keunggulan Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Badan Hukum: Pengalaman UI”.

By raising the theme on “Optimalisasi Sumberdaya UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta dalam Upaya Akselerasi Menuju PTN Badan Hukum”, This year's Rakerpim will compile a work program and strategic steps in preparing UIN Jakarta to become PTN BH in 2021.

“Therefore, UIN Jakarta needs various preparations, both in terms of academic quality, infrastructure, human resources and financial resources. Insha Allah, UIN Jakarta's intention to become PTN BH and WCU will be realized very soon,” he said. (usa/ns)
