West Java Provincial Government Grants Two Hectares of Land to UIN Jakarta
Bandung, UIN News Online – West Java Provincial Government grants two hectares of land to UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The two-hectare of land is currently used for teaching and learning process of the Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Faculty, located at Jalan Kertamukti, Ciputat, West Java.
The grant of two hectares of West Java provincial land to UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta was affirmed by the Governor of West Java, Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) at Rakerpim UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta at el Royale Hotel, Bandung, West Java, Monday, (1/22/2018).
Aher predicts the entire process will be completed within the next two weeks by standard mechanisms. For that reason, there will be a cancellation of BOT (Build Operate Transfer) which he signed earlier.
With the utilization of West Java provincial land, Aher hopes UIN Jakarta can be a leading campus that presents a very strong scientific narration. Based on his perspective, the progress of a nation starts from the spirit of seeking knowledge that can be implemented to build a civilization.
" UIN Jakarta is a campus that has a more balanced and consolidated scientific tradition than any other campus. UIN has both the basic principles of science that is IMTAQ and science and technology," said Aher.
Additionally, Aher expects UIN Jakarta to continuously innovate.
“The birth of Islamic civilization can be started from UIN Jakarta. To that end, the entire academic community of UIN Jakarta must work together in order to realize the great Islamic civilization,” said Aher in front of Rakerpim participants. (usa)
