Water Consumption Per-Person
State Islamic University Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has installed foot-operated water faucets that let users open and close taps without using their hands, and automatic sprinklers in campus gardens that deliver water according to irrigation needs. The Faculty of Agribusiness uses automatic robotic sprinklers to manage irrigation on agricultural land, and hydroponic and vertical gardens use drip and recirculating irrigation systems. Hydrants and fire safety equipment are installed throughout the campus, and several buildings have automatic fire suppression systems with smoke or flame sensors that activate only when necessary. Water taps are distributed across all campus areas, every building has water-saving flush toilets, and water-efficient urinals flush only when needed. Green Campus State Islamic University Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is an initiative aimed at creating a green, sustainable, and environmentally friendly campus.
