The campus has installed foot-operated water faucets, allowing users to open and close taps without using their hands. This simple innovation helps prevent water waste and improves hygiene.

To reduce water consumption for landscape maintenance, automatic sprinkler systems have been installed in campus gardens. These sprinklers deliver water efficiently according to irrigation needs. In addition, the Faculty of Agribusiness utilizes automatic robotic sprinklers to manage irrigation on agricultural land, ensuring optimal water use while supporting sustainable farming practices.

Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University also operates hydroponic and vertical gardens equipped with drip and recirculating irrigation systems. This technology minimizes water loss by continuously recycling water, making it an effective solution for water conservation.
