FSH, UIN News Online — As part of the 2026–2027 New Student Admission (PMB) period, the Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta reaffirms its position as one of Indonesia’s leading destinations for legal education, especially for students interested in the integration of Islamic law (sharia) and modern legal studies.

FSH UIN Jakarta is designed for prospective students who aim to pursue careers as judges, prosecutors, advocates, legal consultants, or other professional roles in both public and private sectors. The faculty combines Islamic legal traditions with contemporary legal frameworks, producing graduates with strong academic foundations and professional integrity.

The Faculty of Sharia and Law has a long institutional history that traces back to the early development of Islamic higher education in Indonesia. Over time, it has evolved into a modern faculty that integrates classical Islamic scholarship with contemporary legal studies, especially after the transformation of IAIN into UIN Jakarta.

Currently, FSH manages six undergraduate programs, two master’s programs, and one doctoral program, with most undergraduate programs holding the highest national accreditation status.
