Vice Rector III: Bidikmisi Students should be Excellent in Everything

Student Center Hall, UIN NEWS Online – Students Affairs of UIN Jakarta held the Orientation of Bidikmisi Students (Ormasi) on Friday (11/09/2018), in Student Center Hall UIN Jakarta. The theme of the event was Stepping Together to Make Dreams Come True. This event was attended by 250 new students that received Bidikmisi and also the Vice Rector III for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Yusron Razak, M.A., and the Chief of Academic Administration for Student Affairs and Cooperation (AAKK) Drs. H. Zaenal Arifin, M.Pd.I. And all the Chiefs and Academicians of UIN Jakarta Student Affairs.

Mr. Yusron in his speech conveyed three important things, the appreciation of this event from all the leaders in UIN Jakarta, the importance of Ormasi, and the expectations of the existence Ormasi or Bidikmisi Scholarship. He explained that Ormasi was the stage of maturation and the process of transferring knowledge and positive attitudes from the seniors and also there are rules and codes of ethics inside it that must be obeyed by the members. He expect that Ormasi could be one of media on how to make UIN Jakarta as featured university both academically and non-academically. He also advised that students that receive Bidikmisi scholarships should be more serious in developing themselves both academically and non-academically and graduate on time.

The Ormasi event was officially opened with the beating of Gong three times by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and witnessed by all leaders of UIN Jakarta Student Affairs. (usa)
