Upgrading Sinta Ranking, Two Accredited Journals of UIN Jakarta Target International Indexation

UIN Jakarta, UIN News Online - Two accredited journals under the auspices of the Postgraduate School and the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences have achieved another achievement. The two journals are the Indo-Islamic Journal which managed to rise to rank 2 and the Komnunity Online Journal which was accredited at rank 5 and won the Science and Technology Index (Sinta) predicate in early 2024 at the PTKIN level.

This result was obtained based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology Number 152/E/KPT/2023 concerning the Scientific Journal Accreditation Ranking for Period II of 2023 which was released on Wednesday (17/01/2023).

Before being ranked Sinta 2 from volume 12 number 2 in 2022 to volume 17 number 1 in 2027, Indo-Islamic Journal was a Sinta 4 accredited journal that proposed reaccreditation at the end of 2022. Meanwhile, Komnunity Online Journal has only been accredited from volume 1 number 1 in 2021 to volume 6 number 2 in 2025.

This achievement is inseparable from the hard work of all parties, including the respective journal management teams and the Journal team of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) which has always guarded the reaccreditation process from the beginning.
