The event, held at the AAKK Meeting Lounge, also marked the completion of the audit process for UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta's 2024 Fiscal Year Financial Statements.
The meeting was directly attended by UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., accompanied by Vice Rector for Administration and General Affairs, Prof. Dr. Imam Subchi, M.A., Head of General Administration and Personnel Bureau Drs. H. Teguh Sarwono, M.Si., Head of the Internal Supervisory Unit (SPI), Dr. Yulianti, M.Si., along with their teams, and the team from Public Accounting Firm (KAP) Ishak, Saleh, Saewondo.
The meeting had two main agendas: the KAP's Audit Report on UIN Jakarta and the Audit Results Report and Submission of the Independent Auditor's Report on UIN Jakarta's 2025 fiscal year financial statements.
The audit process began on January 31, 2025, lasted for 70 calendar days and 14 days of field examination, and was completed on April 10, 2025. In the report presented by KAP ISS, UIN Jakarta successfully received an unmodified auditor's opinion, or unqualified opinion. Furthermore, KAP ISS stated that there were no material findings regarding compliance with laws affecting the financial statements or the internal control system.
Concurrently, several other important achievements were highlighted, including: a significant increase in UIN Jakarta's business units compared to the previous period; this increase also drove up the university's equity and revenue, in line with UIN Jakarta's vision to build the economic independence of the higher education institution; and UIN Jakarta successfully recorded a score of 3.3 for BLU Maturity.
Following this, the Rector of UIN Jakarta delivered remarks, expressing appreciation to all parties who contributed to the successful audit examination. The Rector paid attention to UIN Jakarta's important achievements, stating that UIN Jakarta will focus on asset productivity to become a driver of a healthier BLU. In this regard, the Rector mentioned that, in addition to the State Budget (APBN), UIN Jakarta's business units and other business activities have become a main source of income to support university operations.
“We are optimistic about achieving economic independence in the near future. The significant increase in business units from the previous fiscal year is a good first step and we will continue it,” said the Rector.
A similar statement came from the KAP ISS team, noting that UIN Jakarta has made many improvements, especially in asset optimization. The KAP team also appreciated the steps taken by stakeholders. The impact of the move to make assets productive through the formation of business units and activities is visible in the increase in equity and revenue.
“I see that what UIN Jakarta has done is very good. UIN is on its way to a better change. The increase is also very significant, not just an ordinary increase,” added the KAP Team.
The event concluded with the official submission of the Independent Auditor's Report on UIN Jakarta's 2024 Fiscal Year Financial Statements by KAP ISS, received directly by the Rector of UIN Jakarta.
As part of its ongoing commitment, UIN Jakarta affirmed its continuous efforts to strengthen the institution's internal control system and enhance transparency in the management of university expenditures and budget. This endeavor is a form of institutional responsibility in maintaining public accountability and strengthening stakeholder trust in UIN Jakarta's professional, modern, and integral governance.
