University Senate Holds Plenary Meeting XII

Rectorate, UIN NEWS Online- In order to run the regular agenda, University Senate re-holds the Plenary Meeting XII. This Plenary Meeting specifically listened to the presentation of UIN Jakarta Rector Prof Dr Dede Rosyada MA about the Submission plan on status change of UIN Jakarta from State University of Public Service Agency (PTN-BLU) Became State University of Legal Entity (PTN-BH).

This was conveyed by the Chairman of the University Senate, Prof. Dr. H. Atho Mudzhar, in his preface speech of the Senate XII Plenary Meeting in the Diorama Room in Auditorium Harun Nasution Building on Tuesday (18/07).

According to Atho, this Plenary meeting was aimed to get the clarity, firmness, readiness, and feasibility of UIN Jakarta in submitting the changes plan from State University of Public Service Agency (PTN-BU) Become a State University of Legal Entity (PTN-BH).

Meanwhile, in his presentation, the Rector gave a complete explanation of PTN-BH which was summarized in a paper entitled "Transformation of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Became State University of Legal Entity (PTN-BH), which was included the history of PTN-BH, conception, legal basis, Characteristic, procession of determination, authority, organizational structure, institutional status of PTN-BH, and explanation of current condition of UIN institutional status and eligibility of UIN become PTN-BH.

In this Plenary Meeting, there were much of the valuable input coming from members of the University Senate, who were expecting this status change to work well, and to take any consideration from various aspects of advantages and disadvantages of UIN current conditions.

It is expected that the status change of UIN Jakarta from PTN-BLU to PTN-BH run smoothly and carry the greatest benefit to the progress of UIN Jakarta in particular and to the society as stakeholder in general. (usa-im).
