University in Oman to explore partnership with UIN Jakarta

Rectorate, UIN News Online – To improve academic quality and exchange programs opportunities, Omani Dzahirah is exploring cooperation in research and academic sectors with UIN Jakarta.

This was disclosed by the Director of the Omani Dzahirah Institute, Dr. Salih bin Sulaiman al-Zuhairi to the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany lubis, accompanied by Vice Rector for Cooperation Andi Faisal Bakti, Wednesday (07/03/2019) at Rector’s office, campus I of UIN Jakarta.

“Hopefully we can realize this partnership as soon as possible,” said Salih.

On that occasion, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis said that UIN Jakarta always welcomed the cooperation offering in the fields of academic and research with various academic institutions. He also added that UIN Jakarta also accepted students from various countries including Middle Eastern countries to study at UIN Jakarta. "UIN Jakarta has dozens of study programs based on both Islamic and secular sciences," said Amany.

The Rector also revealed that The Chancellor also revealed that partnerships with Omani educational institutions could be established immediately. In addition to being equally committed to promoting education and research, Both Oman and Indonesia also have similarities in cultural and Islamic condition.

Moreover, both countries also have the same vision and experience in encouraging the growth of religious moderation as their social capital development.
