UMPTKIN, UIN Jakarta Attracts 18.126 Prospective Students

Rectorate, UIN News Online – Academic affairs section of UIN Jakarta noted that at least 18,126 prospective students of UIN Jakarta registered through the UMPTKIN enrollment type.

This was said by the Head of academic affairs section of UIN Jakarta Feni Arifiani to UIN News Online in his office, Tuesday (06/07/2022).

According to Feni, the 18,126 applicants were spread out in the first choice study program with 6,984 applicants, the second choice study program with 5,943 applicants, and the third choice program with 5,199 applicants.

Feni also said, there were five study programs with the highest number of registrants. The five are Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Sharia Economics Study Program, Islamic Broadcasting Study Program, Education Management Study Program, and Sharia Banking Study Program.

Furthermore, Feni urges applicants UMPTKIN enrollment to prepare for the entrance exam. Referring to the central committee of UMPTKIN, this selection test will be held on June 14-17 2022. The result will be announced on June 30, 2022.

The central committee also divided the test group into two groups, namely the science group and the social studies group. The first group of exams covers the fields of science and technology, while the second group covers the social, humanities, and religious fields.

UIN Jakarta itself offers 30 study programs to prospective students. Among them, Islamic Religious Education Study Program, English Language Education Study Program, Islamic School Teacher Education Study Program, Sufism, Islamic Broadcasting Communication, and Sharia Banking. (zm/usa)
