UM-PTKIN Registration Opens, Here are the 30 Programs Offered by UIN Jakarta

Rectorate Building, UIN Online News—The registration for the entrance examination for prospective students of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta through the State Islamic Religious Higher Education Institution Entrance Exam (UM-PTKIN) pathway officially opens this Wednesday (17/4/2024). In this pathway, 30 study programs are offered to prospective students interested in studying at UIN Jakarta.

The Head of the Bureau of Academic Administration, Student Affairs, and Cooperation (Karo AAKK) of UIN Jakarta, Priyono M.Pd, revealed that the UM-PTKIN selection pathway will officially open on Wednesday (17/4/2024). "Registration for the UM-PTKIN pathway, Insha Allah, will start tomorrow, Wednesday, as scheduled by the central committee for new student admissions to PTKIN," he said.

Therefore, Karo Priyono encourages prospective students interested in studying at UIN Jakarta to prepare for registration in this pathway. "Please make use of this selection pathway for students who have not passed in the previous selection pathways," he said.

Referring to the schedule set by the UM-PTKIN 2024 PMB committee, the registration period for the UM-PTKIN pathway opens from Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 08:00 AM WIB until Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 03:00 PM WIB. Registration is done online through the official UM-PTKIN website https://um.ptkin.ac.id/ by first creating a selection registration account.

The finalization of registration for prospective students in this pathway is open from April 17, 2024, at 08:00 AM WIB until June 19, 2024, at 03:00 PM WIB. Subsequently, registrants can print out their UM-PTKIN SSE Exam Participant Cards on April 21, 2024, at 08:00 AM WIB.

As for the implementation of the UM-PTKIN SSE Exam itself, it is scheduled to take place from June 24 to June 30, 2024. The UM-PTKIN SSE Exam schedule is listed on each Exam Participant Card and is conducted at the chosen PTKIN/PTN Exam Location selected by the Participant. The announcement of participant pass rates is scheduled to be announced on July 8, 2024.

For information, the exam material in this pathway covers several aspects aimed at measuring the reasoning abilities of prospective students. These aspects include academic reasoning, mathematical reasoning, reading literacy, and Islamic teachings literacy.

Furthermore, Karo Priyono revealed that UIN Jakarta itself offers 30 study programs to prospective students. All of them are spread across several faculties within UIN Jakarta. The details of the study programs and their quotas are as follows:
