UM PTKIN Registration Begins to Open on Friday

Rectorate, UIN News Online – Prospective students who will take part in the selection test for the Entrance of the State Islamic Religious College (UM PTKIN) should be prepared. On Friday (1/5/2020), the national written exam will be opened simultaneously in all PTKIN (UIN / IAIN / STAIN) in Indonesia starting at 07.00 WIB.

In a press release from UIN Jakarta Public Relations office received by UIN NEWS Online, Thursday (4/30/2020), said that the opening of registration and payment of UM PTKIN routes was done online at the page www.um-ptkin.ac.id.

On that page prospective participants are first asked to fill in their biodata to get a Payment Instruction Letter (SIP) and Personal Identity Number (PIN). The registration fee is Rp 200,000 for all study program. Additional fees will be charged if conducting transactions using a virtual account (VA).

The registration period for PTKIN UM will take place until 30 June 2020 at 23:59 WIB. While the implementation of the exam took place on July 15-July 22, 2020 using a computer system that was divided into three sessions.

PR office of UIN Jakarta in its press statement also said that UIN Jakarta on UM PTKIN enrollment offered 30 religious study programs with a total quota of 1,306 seats available.

Following are the number of seats available in each study program that is spread across seven faculties. Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (10 study programs), namely Islamic Religious Education (48 seats), Arabic Language Education (42 seats), Indonesian Language and Literature (42 seats), English Language Education (42 seats), Islamic Social Education (48 seats), Biology Education (36 seats), Physics Education (36 seats), Management Education (42 seats), Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (48 seats), and Early Childhood Islamic Education (48 seats).

Faculty of Adab and Humanities (3 study programs), namely Arabic Language and Literature (46 seats), History and Islamic Civilization (56 seats), and Tarjamah (42 seats); Ushuluddin Faculty (5 study programs), namely the Study of Religions (32 seats), Qur'anic Studies and Interpretation (64 seats), Hadith (48 seats), Islamic Aqeedah and Philosophy (32 seats), and Sufism (32 seats) 16 seats); Faculty of Sharia and Law (5 seats), i.e. Comparison of Schools (48 seats), Family Law (48 seats), Constitutional Law (16 seats), Islamic Criminal Law (16 seats), and Sharia Economic Law (48 seats).

Then the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Studies (4 study programs), namely Islamic Communication and Broadcasting (80 seats), Islamic Counseling Guidance (40 seats), Da'wah Management (56 seats), and Islamic Community Development (32 seats); Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah (1 study program), namely Dirasat Islamiyah (48 seats); and the Faculty of Economics and Business (2 study programs), namely Islamic Banking (48 seats) and Islamic Economics (48 seats).
