UM-PTKIN 2025 Registration Now Open, UIN Jakarta Offers 30 Leading Study Programs
Rectorate Building, UIN News Online — Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta has opened registration for prospective students from MA, MAK, SMA, SMK, Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), and their equivalents through the 2025 State Islamic Higher Education Entrance Exam (UM-PTKIN). This year, UIN Jakarta is offering 30 leading study programs across various Islamic and general academic disciplines.
Head of UIN Jakarta’s Center for Information & Public Relations, Zaenal Muttaqin, announced that registration for new students via the UM-PTKIN exam pathway will be open from April 22 to May 28, 2025. He explained that this pathway is available for prospective students interested in programs that were also offered through the academic achievement track, SPAN PTKIN.
In addition, the UM-PTKIN track is available ahead of the UIN Jakarta Independent Admission (SPMB Mandiri) track. "So, we invite all students and pesantren graduates who wish to continue their studies at UIN Jakarta to take advantage of this opportunity and register through this pathway," he said.
According to the National Committee for PTKIN Admissions, registration is open from April 22 to May 28, 2025, with the finalization period extended until May 31. Admit cards can be printed starting May 1.
The UM-PTKIN selection process will be held on June 10–12 and June 14–18 using an electronic selection system. The results will be announced on June 30, 2025.

General Requirements
To register for UM-PTKIN 2025, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Eligible participants are graduates of MA/MAK/SMA/SMK/SPM/PDF/PKPPS or equivalent from the years 2023, 2024, and 2025.
- Graduates of 2023 and 2024 must possess a diploma or a graduation certificate. Graduates of 2025 must provide one of the following: graduation certificate, graduation announcement, ID card, or student card.
- Applicants must have:
a. National Student Identification Number (NISN)
b. Active and reachable email address
c. Active WhatsApp number - Registration is conducted independently via https://um.ptkin.ac.id
- Registration fees must be paid through designated banks. Fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Applicants may choose up to 3 study programs across PTKIN/PTN.
- Applicants must select the test center location.
- Registration is considered complete once the applicant finalizes the registration process.
Registration Process
- Applicants must follow the UM-PTKIN registration process below:
- Create a UM-PTKIN account. Select “Register” for those who have an NISN but no SPAN-PTKIN account. The username and password will be sent via the email provided during account creation.
- Log in using your Username/NISN and Password.
- Complete the online biodata form at https://um.ptkin.ac.id or via the UM-PTKIN 2025 Android app to obtain an invoice and Virtual Account (VA) number.
- Make a payment via Bank Mandiri or other banks:
a. Bank Mandiri: through teller, ATM, or LIVIN by Mandiri using the VA number/payment code.
b. Other banks: via ATM or interbank transfer using the VA number as the destination account (additional fees may apply). - Obtain a payment receipt. Registration fees are non-refundable.
- Continue the registration at https://um.ptkin.ac.id or the mobile app by verifying payment status, selecting study programs and test locations, and printing the exam card.
- Participate in the SSE UM-PTKIN exam at the chosen test center.
