UKM Fair Rocks: UIN Jakarta Student Bands Set the Stage Ablaze
Student Center Field, UIN Online News — UKM Fair at UIN Jakarta came alive with energy and creativity, this time hosting a music event Saturday (06/09/2025) featuring various student bands as a platform for artistic expression and creativity across faculties.
The performances began with PMS FPSI, opening the stage with an energetic vibe, followed by Music of English Letters (MEL), who brought musical arrangements infused with linguistic and literature nuances. Meanwhile, Artefah FAH and Bring the Vibes kept the atmosphere lively with their fresh and spirited performances.
Not to be outdone, Sudasadar and Star Koplo entertained the audience with popular music delivered in a contemporary style. Their acts added more color to the event and drew the crowd into a shared sense of enjoyment.
Additionally, bands Binafsih and Loris lit up the stage with meaningful songs, followed by performances from Ubaidilah and Black Horses, whose energetic acts left a lasting impression on the attendees.
The chief organizer of the UKM Fair, Ibrahim Haikal Putrabadi, stated that this year’s event was designed to be more festive by inviting special guest stars.
“For this year, we made sure to invite various guest stars to leave a stronger impression,” he said.
He further emphasized that the music event was not just about entertainment but also served as a platform for self-development for freshmen. Through UKM Fair, it is hoped that freshmen can start exploring their potential while expanding their social networks.
“We hope this event helps new students discover their talents and interests. Among the various UKMs, hopefully there’s a place for them to start their academic journey,” he added.
This music event was not only a source of entertainment but also a medium to strengthen solidarity among students. Through such activities, UKM Fair aims to foster collaboration, creativity, and an appreciation for the arts among the UIN Jakarta community.
