UIN Jakarta's PBAK 2024 Kicks Off with a Sustainable Vision

UIN Jakarta Field, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta has officially launched its 2024 academic year with the Introduction to Campus Academic Culture (PBAK) ceremony, held at UIN Jakarta Field on Tuesday (August 27, 2024). This year's PBAK, themed "The First 100 Days at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta: Sustainable Campus, Sustainable Achievement," aims to introduce new students to the campus's academic culture while fostering environmental awareness from day one.

The opening ceremony was led by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., and accompanied by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ali Munhanif M.A., Ph.D., and the Chairperson of the PBAK 2024 Committee, Salamah Agung M.A., Ph.D. Also presentinte ceremony, the Vice Rectors, Bureau Heads, Deans, and leaders of student organizations at UIN Jakarta.

In his speech, Rector Asep Jahar warmly welcomed the new students, highlighting their importance as they officially join the UIN Jakarta community. "The reputation of this campus will continue to grow, and you are a crucial part of that journey," he said.

Asep encouraged students to fully engage in the PBAK activities. "Use this time to connect with fellow students and understand each activity in PBAK. This is your first step in discovering what sets UIN Jakarta apart from other universities," he stated.

He also stressed the need to maintain energy and focus throughout PBAK, advising students not to overexert themselves. "This is a long process, so keep your spirits high, strengthen your commitment, and plan your studies well, as you have only four years here," he added.

This year's PBAK will be conducted in online, offline, and hybrid formats, spanning from August 27 to November 23, 2024. In addition to introducing academic culture, administrative systems, and student activities, participants will also benefit from additional content featuring influential young figures, including motivational speeches by Raditya Dika Angkasaputra Moerwani Nasution (comic, writer, director) and a motivation talkshow by Jovial Da Lopez (YouTube personality, comedian, actor, and Indonesian screenwriter).
