UIN Jakarta’s Graduate School Opens 2026/2027 Admissions to Develop Globally Competitive Muslim Intellectuals
Jakarta, UIN Online News — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has officially opened admissions for its Graduate School (Sekolah Pascasarjana/SPs) for the 2026/2027 Academic Year, inviting aspiring scholars to pursue advanced studies in interdisciplinary Islamic studies. With a long-standing reputation for academic excellence and international engagement, the Graduate School continues to serve as one of Indonesia’s leading centers for postgraduate education in Islamic scholarship.
Located at Campus II, Ciputat, the Graduate School offers advanced academic programs designed to cultivate researchers, scholars, and thought leaders capable of addressing contemporary global challenges through interdisciplinary perspectives rooted in Islamic values.
The Graduate School currently offers postgraduate education at the Master’s (S2) and Doctoral (S3) levels:
Master of Islamic Studies (S2)
The master's program provides an interdisciplinary approach to Islamic studies, covering concentrations such as Islamic thought, law, politics, and Islamic economics. Students are encouraged to integrate classical Islamic scholarship with contemporary academic perspectives to produce innovative and relevant research.
Doctor of Islamic Studies (S3)
Recognized as one of Indonesia’s premier doctoral programs in Islamic studies, the program is designed to develop internationally competitive researchers and academics capable of producing original contributions to global scholarship.
The Graduate School maintains rigorous academic standards under the leadership of Prof. Zulkifli, M.A., Ph.D., Director of the Graduate School, supported by Vice Directors Prof. Dr. Yusuf Rahman, M.A., Prof. Dr. J.M.
