UIN Jakarta’s Academic Community Holds Halal bi Halal 1439H

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – Civitas academica of UIN Jakarta held Halal Bi Halal event at Harun Nasution main auditorium, Campus I of UIN Jakarta, Thursday, (07/05/2018). The event which is regularly held after eid al fitr, was attended by Indonesian Ombudsman Chairman Prof Amzulian Rifai SH LLM PhD, who was invited as a speaker to speak about the deradicalization on campus towards the global community.

Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof Dr Dede Rosyada, in his speech, appreciated and expressed his gratitude for the presence of all UIN Jakarta academic community as well as all invited guests. According to Rector, this activity is a moment of silaturrahim among employees of UIN Jakarta.

On the same occasion, Dede also said that this year, UIN Jakarta received 7,500 new students. So, at this time, the number of UIN students amounted to 30,000 students.

“Additionally, UIN Jakarta is currently ranked 99th for universities in Southeast Asia. As for the world level, UIN Jakarta has entered the category of 1000 universities known to the world. This all proves that UIN Jakarta continues to move forward in developing its scientific values,” said Dede.

The accomplishments of UIN Jakarta, he asserted, can not be separated from the cooperation of all academic community in the campus It also proves that UIN Jakarta is more trusted by society as a study destination.

At the end of his speech, the Rector said that this is the last halal bi halal event for his term as Rector. Therefore, he apologizes to all parties if there is some mistake during his period of leadership.

“During my leadership, alhamdulillah all has been done in accordance with regulation. However, we apologize if there are any mistakes or misunderstanding,” he concluded. (usa)
