UIN Jakarta wins the 2021 Anugerah Berita Pengawasan award

Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta manage to achieve the 2021 Anugerah Berita Pengawasan award from Inspectorate General of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs (Itjen Kemenag) on Monday (07/12/2021). Through this achievement, UIN Jakarta is commited to making publications and documentation as a means of transparency of institutional governance to the public.

Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Deni Suardini said that the award was intended as part of the Early Warning System to prevent corruption. “The early warning system is one of the joint efforts to prevent corruption,” he said.

Separately, the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis, on behalf of the academic community, expressed her gratitude for the appreciation given by the Itjen Kemenag. According to Amany, this award further strengthens UIN Jakarta's commitment to publicizing any information within UIN Jakarta that will benefit the community.

“Publication and documentation related to monitoring will become a priority. UIN Jakarta also has an interest in creating accountability and transparency in institutional governance,” she said.

For information, the 2021 Anugerah Berita Pengawasan award onsists of three categories. Namely higher education category, Regional Office category and the City/Regency office. The standard of assessment itself is regulated by the Inspectorate General, among which are the most productive and creative in reporting monitoring issues in their respective environments. (usa)
