UIN Jakarta Wins Best Social Media Management Award at the 2024 Ministry of Religious Affairs Public Relations Awards
Jakarta, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta has once again proven its excellence in social media content management by securing the Best Social Media Manager award in the Religious Universities (PTKIN) category at the 2024 Ministry of Religious Affairs Public Relations Awards. The prestigious event, held on Monday (30/12/2024), highlighted UIN Jakarta’s creativity and informativeness in social media management among religious universities across Indonesia.
The ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including the Minister of Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. KH. Nasaruddin Umar, M.A., Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, H. R. Muhammad Syafi, and other key officials, such as university leaders, directors, inspectors, and provincial religious office heads.
Representing UIN Jakarta, Vice Rector for Cooperation and Institutional Affairs, Din Wahid, M.A., Ph.D., expressed his pride in the university’s achievement. “We are thrilled that UIN Jakarta has once again been recognized as the best social media manager by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This success is the result of collaboration among various parties, and we hope it will inspire us all to continue striving for excellence,” he stated.
The Public Relations Awards, organized annually by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, aim to recognize outstanding performance and encourage healthy competition in public relations within the ministry.
UIN Jakarta outperformed four other State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN) that were nominated in the same category. Zaenal Muttaqin, M.A., Head of the Information Center and Public Relations at UIN Jakarta, attributed the achievement to teamwork and the university’s commitment to being an informative and creative institution.
“UIN Jakarta’s social media reflects who we are as a university. This achievement is a product of our collective efforts, and we aim to maintain this momentum moving forward,” Zaenal stated. He emphasized that UIN Jakarta’s success lies in its ability to manage social media content that is engaging, relevant, and tailored to its audience.
The university’s creative content strategy has become its hallmark, combining visually appealing designs, effective communication, and active interaction with its audience. Beyond mere content delivery, UIN Jakarta’s social media presence underscores its commitment to transparency and adaptability in the face of technological and informational advancements.
