UIN Jakarta Wins Best Publication Unit among PTKN at the 2025 Humas Kemenag Awards

Jakarta, UIN Online News — For the second period of 2025, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta once again earned two major distinctions from Public Relations (Humas) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Indonesia (Kemenag RI) in two categories: Best Social Media Management and Best Website Management.

The awards were presented in Jakarta on Monday (1/12/2025) by the Secretary-General of Kemenag RI, Prof. Dr. Phil. Kamaruddin Amin, and the Special Staff of Kemenag RI, Dr. Ismail Cawidu, M.A., to the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D. 

The ceremony brought together Echelon I officials, Special Staff, Expert Staff, provincial Kemenag leaders from across Indonesia, senior representatives of State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKN), and press from various media.

In the Best Social Media Management category, several other institutions were honored alongside UIN Jakarta, including UIN Raden Inten Lampung, UIN Samarinda, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, and UIN Walisongo Semarang. For the Best Website Management (PTKN) category, award recipients included UIN Ar-Raniry Aceh, UIN Raden Inten Lampung, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, and UIN Palu.

Following the ceremony, Asep Saipudin Jahar expressed his appreciation for the achievement, noting that the dual recognition reflects the collective work and institutional support within UIN Jakarta.

“My gratitude goes to the entire public relations team, faculty and unit-level communications staff, our internship students, and the entire academic community of UIN Jakarta. This achievement belongs to all of us, and I hope it inspires even stronger commitment to delivering professional and high-quality public information services,” the rector of UIN Jakarta stated.

According to him, the awards should serve as motivation for the academic community to continue strengthening UIN Jakarta’s public information management in the digital era.

“These awards, they remind us that excellence, modernity, and responsiveness in public information services must remain our shared commitment,” he conveyed.
