UIN Jakarta will prepare strategic plan for 2020-2024

Jakarta, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta will prepare a Strategic Plan (Renstra) for the period 2020-2004. The new strategic plan will be prepared in accordance with the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs Strategic Plan.

This was said by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis after attending the Public Consultation Forum on the Initial National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2020-2024 in the Field of Higher Education held by the Ministry of National Development Planning / National Development Planning Agency (Ministry of PPN / Bappenas) at Erian Hotel Jakarta, Friday (08/23/2019).

“The preparation of the new strategic plan will be carried out in the near future, and will involve a number of elements of the academic community. The preparation of the Strategic Plan also refers to the RPNMN Ministry of PPN / Bappenas for the period 2020-2024,” said Amany.

The Chancellor also said that UIN Jakarta will prepare a Strategic Plan that is in line with the Religious Affairs Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan was also arranged according to the vision and mission of UIN Jakarta and the tri pillars of higher education.

The Rector also said that the administration of President Joko Widodo had planned Indonesia's development for the next five years. The development plan is outlined in the Ministry / Bappenas RPJMN, including human resource development, the field of economic development, regional and infrastructure development.

In developing the human resources, the government will focus on education, including tertiary education. The focus of this development sector includes two aspects, namely increasing equitable distribution of equitable education services and increasing productivity and competitiveness. (usa/ns)
