UIN Jakarta will facilitate the best graduates

Rectorate, UIN News Online – To prepare the development agents of UIN Jakarta in the future, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis wants UIN Jakarta to facilitate the best graduates to continue their study, and later, they can devote themselves to the campus.This was conveyed by Rector during weekly meeting, held at Main Meeting Room, campus I of UIN Jakarta, Wednesday (03/20/2019). This weekly routine meeting was attended by all leaders from rectorate, faculty, and institutions and work unit at UIN Jakarta. “This is important to be noticed by the Vice Rectors, Deans and Deputy Deans, collect their data, and provide them with the opportunity,” said Amany. According to Amany, types of support for undergraduate graduates is the opportunities to continue their studies, for master’s and doctoral programs, the support can be given in the form of opportunities to teach and conduct research activities. On the same occasion, Vice Rector for Student Affair Masri Mansoer revealed that UIN Jakarta will focus on the correlation between students and the world of work according to their interests and talents. One of them is through student internship program in various BUMN (State enterprises). Until the end of February, he continued, 71 students of UIN Jakarta had carried out an internship in various BUMN. “We also collaborate with PT Pertamina. There are three students who are currently undergoingan internship at the company. Hopefully more will come in the future,” said Masri. (usa)
