UIN Jakarta Welcomes SMKN 1 Sukaluyu Cianjur Students
Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta had the pleasure of hosting more than 300 10th-grade students from SMKN 1 Sukaluyu, Cianjur, along with their principal and teachers, during a visit on Tuesday (21/01/2025) at the Harun Nasution Auditorium. This initiative aimed to inspire and guide students in planning their educational journeys.
Principal of SMKN 1 Sukaluyu, Edy Mustofa, expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by UIN Jakarta. He emphasized the importance of this visit as a platform for students to explore opportunities for higher education.
“We are deeply thankful for UIN Jakarta's kind reception. This visit provides valuable insight for our students, helping them envision their future and motivating them to pursue higher education,” he said.
The Head of the Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) at UIN Jakarta, Zaenal Muttaqin, S.Th.I., M.Ag., highlighted UIN Jakarta’s pioneering transformation from a State Islamic Institute (IAIN) to a State Islamic University (UIN). This progress reflects its commitment to integrating general and Islamic sciences through diverse faculties and study programs.
“This transformation underscores UIN Jakarta's dedication to advancing academic excellence. It is not merely a name change but a reflection of our holistic approach to education,” he explained.
Prof. Dr. Asep Syarifuddin Hidayat, S.H., M.H., Head of UIN Jakarta’s Business Development Center, motivated the students to cultivate essential skills such as communication, adaptability, and a growth mindset to excel in their future careers.
“Success demands persistence and passion. Keep refining your abilities and never stop learning,” he encouraged.
During the visit, Taufan Maulana Firdaus, S.Pd., an analyst from UIN Jakarta’s Information Center, provided a detailed overview of academic programs, admission pathways, tuition structures, and scholarship opportunities. Students actively participated, asking insightful questions and demonstrating enthusiasm about the prospects of studying at UIN Jakarta.
