UIN Jakarta Welcomes PGRI 24 Jakarta Students, Showcases Academic Programs and Scholarship Opportunities

Auditorium Harun Nasution, UIN Online News — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta welcomed students from PGRI 24 Junior and Senior High School Jakarta during a campus visit held at the Harun Nasution Auditorium on Thursday (January 22, 2026). The event was organized to introduce prospective students to the university's academic programs, admission pathways, student life, and various scholarship opportunities available at UIN Jakarta.

The visit was attended by representatives from the Center for Information and Public Relations (PIH) of UIN Jakarta, including Dr. Deden Mauli Darajat, M.Sc. and Dian Nurbani Adestiani, S.Pd., alongside UIN Jakarta Student Ambassador Egidia Indah Lestari, who assisted in presenting the university profile.

Opening the event, Dr. Deden Mauli Darajat, Coordinator of Public Relations and Protocol at PIH UIN Jakarta, encouraged students to pursue their dreams with determination and perseverance. He emphasized that higher education is not merely about earning a degree but also about developing one's potential and preparing for future success.

"There are no dreams without effort and perseverance. Whether you are in junior or senior high school, you should always dream big and work hard. UIN Jakarta is not only a place to continue your education but also a university where you can develop your talents, broaden your horizons, and achieve your aspirations," he said.

Representing PGRI 24 Jakarta, Fuad Mudzakir, S.Pd., Vice Principal for Curriculum Affairs, expressed appreciation for the opportunity and hoped the visit would inspire students to pursue higher education.

"We hope this visit motivates our students to continue learning and preparing themselves for university. Hopefully, many of them will one day become students of UIN Jakarta," he remarked.

The main presentation was delivered by Dian Nurbani Adestiani together with Student Ambassador Egidia Indah Lestari, who introduced UIN Jakarta's diverse academic offerings, ranging from Islamic studies and education to law, social sciences, psychology, natural sciences, and medicine.

They also explained the university's admission pathways, including SNBP, SNBT, SPAN-PTKIN, UM-PTKIN, and the Independent Admission scheme, providing participants with practical guidance on selecting the pathway best suited to their academic profiles.

Beyond academics, the presenters highlighted UIN Jakarta's vibrant campus life through its wide range of Student Activity Units (UKM), leadership development opportunities, and scholarship programs designed to support students throughout their studies.

"At UIN Jakarta, students can pursue not only academic excellence but also develop their interests, talents, and leadership skills through various student organizations. We also offer numerous scholarship opportunities to help students finance their education," explained the Student Ambassador.

The visit concluded with a guided campus tour aboard UIN Jakarta's electric shuttle buses, allowing participants to explore lecture halls, academic buildings, research facilities, and student activity centers firsthand.

Through outreach programs such as this, UIN Jakarta continues to strengthen its engagement with schools by providing comprehensive information about higher education while encouraging students to prepare for university according to their interests and aspirations.
