UIN Jakarta Welcomes MA TEI Multazam Bogor Students, Introduces Academic Programs, Research Facilities, and Scholarship Opportunities
Diorama Room, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta welcomed students and teachers from Madrasah Aliyah Tahfidz and Islamic Economics (MA TEI) Multazam, Rumpin, Bogor, West Java, for a Goes to Campus visit held in the university's Diorama Room on Wednesday (21/01/2026). The visit was designed to broaden students' understanding of UIN Jakarta's academic programs, admission pathways, and campus life.
The delegation was received by Rahmawati, S.Psi., M.M., Head of Academic Affairs, together with representatives from UIN Jakarta's Center for Information and Public Relations (PIH), including Taufan Maulana Firdaus, S.Pd., Dian Nurbani Adestiani, and Yuyun Yuliana. Salvia Neysa Syakira, one of UIN Jakarta's Student Ambassadors, also joined the event.
Opening the program, Rahmawati emphasized the importance of campus visits in helping prospective university students gain first-hand insight into higher education.
"Visits like this are essential in providing students with a deeper understanding of university life, especially at UIN Jakarta, which is known for integrating Islamic values with modern scientific knowledge," she said.
Meanwhile, H. Munawwar, S.E., Principal of MA TEI Multazam, explained that the school selected UIN Jakarta because of its strategic location and the alignment of its academic values with the school's educational vision. He noted that nearly 80 percent of the school's students come from the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek), making UIN Jakarta an ideal destination for higher education.
"Around 80 percent of our students are from the Greater Jakarta area, so UIN Jakarta is very accessible. It would be a missed opportunity if we didn't introduce them to this university," he remarked.
The main presentation was delivered by Dian Nurbani Adestiani from the Center for Information and Public Relations, accompanied by UIN Jakarta Student Ambassador Salvia Neysa Syakira. Together, they introduced students to the university's academic programs and guided them through the various admission pathways available based on their interests and aspirations.
Beyond academics, Nurbani also highlighted the wide range of financial aid available for prospective students.
"There's no need to worry about tuition costs. UIN Jakarta offers numerous scholarship opportunities, including the Indonesia Smart College Card (KIP Kuliah), scholarships funded through the university's Public Service Agency (BLU), banking partner scholarships from institutions such as BRI and BSI, as well as scholarships provided by various philanthropic organizations," she explained.
During the interactive discussion session, one student asked about research opportunities and facilities available on campus. Responding to the question, Taufan Maulana Firdaus outlined the university's research infrastructure and student development programs.
"UIN Jakarta provides comprehensive research facilities, including the Main Library, the Integrated Laboratory Center, and various specialized research centers. In addition, students can develop their academic writing and research skills through Fresh UIN Jakarta, one of the university's autonomous student organizations dedicated to research and scientific writing," he said.
The visit concluded with a ceremonial exchange of souvenirs between MA TEI Multazam and UIN Jakarta, followed by a campus tour, where participants explored academic buildings, learning facilities, and student activity centers.
