UIN Jakarta Update 2025: Exploring the Best Islamic University's Leading Postgraduate Programs

South Tangerang, UIN Online News — To broaden public understanding and attract prospective students to its postgraduate programs, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta is hosting “UIN Jakarta Update 2025: Promotion & Information on Master’s and Doctoral Programs” virtually from Wednesday to Friday, October 1–10, 2025.

The event provides detailed presentations on admission pathways for Master’s (S2) and Doctoral (S3) programs across all faculties, delivered by faculty deans, program heads, and university representatives.

On Wednesday (1/10/2025), the Faculty of Educational Sciences (FITK) presented its postgraduate offerings, including the master’s in Islamic Religious Education, Arabic Education, English Education, and Islamic Education Management, and the doctorate in Islamic Religious Education.

On Thursday (2/10/2025), the Faculty of Adab and Humanities introduced its master’s programs in Islamic History and Culture, Arabic Language and Literature, and the doctorate in Islamic Civilization History, followed by the Faculty of Ushuluddin with its master’s programs in Qur’anic and Tafsir Studies, Islamic Theology and Philosophy, and Religious Studies.

On Friday (3/10/2025), the Faculty of Sharia and Law highlighted its Master’s in Islamic Economic Law, Master’s in Islamic Family Law, and Doctorate in Sharia Science, followed by the Faculty of Da‘wa and Communication with its Master’s in Islamic Communication and Broadcasting, Master’s in Da‘wa Management, and Doctorate in Islamic Communication.

On Monday (6/10/2025), sessions continued with the Faculty of Medicine, introducing the Master’s in Biomedical Sciences, and the Faculty of Health Sciences, with the Master’s in Pharmacy.

On Tuesday (7/10/2025), the Faculty of Science and Technology will present the Master’s in Agribusiness and Master’s in Information Technology, followed by the Faculty of Economics and Business with its Master’s in Islamic Banking, Master’s in Islamic Economics, and Doctorate in Islamic Banking.

On Wednesday (8/10/2025), the Faculty of Psychology will introduce its Master’s in Psychology, followed by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences with the Master’s in Political Science and Master’s in Sociology.

Finally, on Thursday (9/10/2025), the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah will present its Master’s in Islamic Studies (with concentrations in Islamic Theology, Islamic Law, and Arabic Language and Literature), followed by the School of Graduate Studies with its Master’s and Doctorate in Islamic Studies.

The series of sessions is broadcast live via the official UIN Jakarta YouTube channel and held simultaneously on Zoom, ensuring broad accessibility for interested audiences. Featured programs are among UIN Jakarta’s flagship offerings, with scholarship opportunities supported by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag), the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP), the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS), and the Social Trust Fund (STF).
