UIN Jakarta-Unpam agree to cooperate

Rectorate, UIN News online – In order to strengthen Institutional capacity and three pillars of higher education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi), UIN Jakarta and the University of Pamulang (Unpam) are agree to cooperate. The agreement was stated in the MoU signed by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis and the Rector of Unpam Dayat Hidayat, Tuesday (06/30/2020)

Also present in the event, UIN Jakarta’s Vice rector for Cooperation Andi M Faisal Bakti, Unpam’s Vice Rector for General Administration Subarto, Unpam’s Vice Rector for Cooperation Dewi Anggraeni.

Rector Amany Lubis positively welcome the cooperation with UNPAM. According to amany, the cooperation is expected to provide positive impact for the two universities and can also contribute to the development of human resources, especially in the South Tangerang region, Banten.

The Rector of Unpam Dayat Hidayat also expressed the same thing. According to Dayat, UIN Jakarta is a potential partner in efforts to improve the academic climate of higher education as well as regional development.

“Unpam and UIN Jakarta will strive to strengthen each other's institutional capacity and improve the mission of three pillars of higher education, namely education and teaching, research, and community service,” he said.

Meanwhile, Vice Rector of Cooperation of UIN Jakarta Andi Faisal Bakti said that the cooperstion between the two institutions would be followed up through various specific cooperation or implementation agreements between each institution. The technical cooperation covers the fields of human resource development, scientific publications, research, and scientific activities.

“Many aspects will be followed up in this collaboration. So, technically, UIN Jakarta will later become a guiding university for Unpam,” said Andi.

In accordance cooperation agreement, a number of human resource development programs will be carried out, including the professors acceleration program, sending Unpam lecturers to continue their doctoral studies at UIN Jakarta, collaborative training / workshop, and student exchanges program, and fostering the accreditation of study programs and online learning (e-learning).

“Unpam has implemented an e-learning learning system for its students. So, we will also learn a lot about the e-learning program,” he said. (usa/ns)
