UIN Jakarta-Unisma are agree to collaborate

Malang, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta and Malang Islamic University (Unisma) agree to collaborate in the field of Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education). The agreement was contained in a MoU signed by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis and Rector of Unisma Makuri in Malang, East Java, Tuesday (01/11/2022).

The collaboration also aims to synergize the potential and resources of both parties for the development of human resources and the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education.

The collaborations that will be carried out include the implementation of education, research, training, publications and journals, community service, and human resources competencies development.

In addition, there will also be joint seminars at regional, national, international levels, as well as activities in the form of Merdeka Learning Program at the Merdeka Campus (MBKM).

Chancellor Amany Lubis said that the collaboration with Unisma was a strategic step because both universities had the same mission in developing human resources. Collaboration is also carried out in order to expand the network among Islamic universities in Indonesia.

“This is a positive and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two parties. Insha Allah, this collaboration will provide positive contribution in advancing the Islamic community,” said Rector Amany.

The Chancellor of Unisma Maskuri also said that his party was very grateful to be able to collaborate with UIN Jakarta, which is experienced in developing the Three Pillars of Higher Education, both at the national and international levels.

“Hopefully this collaboration can be realized as soon as possible,” he hoped. (ns/usa)
