UIN Jakarta-UiTM Sarawak sign MoU

Rectorate, UIN News Online – A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed today, Wednesday (10/30/2019) between UIN Jakarta Rector Amany Lubis and the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM Sarawak Branch) Rector Jamil Hamali. Also present in the event, Vice Rector for Cooperation Andi Faisal Bakti, Head of international office of UIN Jakarta Dadi Darmadi, and Head of PLHBH UIN Jakarta Afwan Faizin.

Under the MoU, the two parties will collaborate in various fields of cooperation, such as faculty, staff and student exchanges as well as research collaboration.  According to Jamil, UIN Jakarta is selected as the strategic cooperation partner because it has many experts in various scopes of research.

“We would like to express our gratitude to UIN Jakarta who welcomed UiTM’s intention to establish cooperation in several matters related to educational quality improvement. Especially in terms of research,” said Jamil Hamali.

In response, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis positively appreciate the MoU for both parties, she also hoped that this collaboration to be implemented as soon as possible.

“UIN Jakarta is currently being intensively cooperated with several local and International universities. This proves that UIN Jakarta has great ideals to become a world-class university,” said Rector. (usa)
