UIN Jakarta to open the International Student Exchange Program

Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta through the Center for International Cooperation (PLKI) will open the International Student Exchange (ISE) program. “This program is the result of cooperation between UIN Jakarta and West Sydney University (WSU) Australia, and now entering its third year,” said the head of PLKI UIN Jakarta, Rachmat Baihaky MA to UIN News Online in his office, Wednesday, (2/8).

Unlike last year, there are two recruitment schemes for this program for this year. For the first scheme, the program will be funded by UIN Jakarta. This scheme is opened for the 4th semester upwards students. As long as the study program is available at the partner university, the students can participate in this program.

There are several requirements that need to be met for this scheme. Among them are copy of student ID card, letter of active studentship, IELTS certificate 6.5 (minimum score of 6.0 each band) or 600 for TOEFL, recommendation letter from dean or head of departement, health certificate, and copy of passport.

“The second scheme will be funded by WSU and only eligible for the faculties that have specificdepartments such as International Relations, History, Communication and Islamic Law (Sharia) with the requirements of IELTS certificate 6.5 (minimum score of 6.0 each band), and 3.0 of GPA,” added Baihaky.
