UIN Jakarta to hold virtual graduation ceremony

Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta will hold a virtual graduation ceremony for its graduates on Saturday (06/27/2020) through zoom application and to be live streamed through YouTube channel.

This was said by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis to UIN News Online during the graduation ceremony rehearsal held at Harun Nasution Auditorium on Thursday (06/25/2020).

“We had to come up with a way to celebrate our graduates in a safe way, and this is what we came up with,” said Rector Amany.

By raising the theme on “Produktif di Tengah Pandemi Covid-19, Filantropis Sepanjang Masa”, this event will be attended by 451 graduates from 12 Faculties Graduate School (SPs).

The details consists of 92 participants from FITK, 32 participants from FAH, 25 participants from FU, 77 participants from FSH, 99 participants from FIDK, 8 participants from FDI, 16 participants from FPSI, 22 participants from FEB, 60 participants from FST, 5 participants from FIKES, 2 participants from FK, 14 from FISIP, and 5 participants from SPs UIN Jakarta master’s program.

The Indonesian Minister for Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian is also scheduled to deliver his online speech in this event.

Chancellor Amany Lubis hopes that the virtual graduation will take place solemnly without any disturbance. "Technically, we use a team of experts in the field of information technology, and we hope the event will goes according to the plan,” she said. (usa)
