Ciputat, UIN News Online — Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is set to organize the 2026 Pre-Leadership Work Meeting (Pra Rakerpim) as part of its institutional agenda to strengthen human resource capacity and enhance organizational performance.
The event will take place at Syahida Inn on Monday–Tuesday, 2–3 February 2026, serving as the initial stage of the university’s annual Leadership Work Meeting (Rakerpim).
The Pre-Rakerpim is designed as a strategic forum to discuss key directions in higher education transformation, strengthen governance systems, and improve the capacity of university leaders and work units. The program will feature seminars, panel discussions, and commission-based working sessions involving various academic and administrative units across the university.
UIN Jakarta Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., stated that the Pre-Rakerpim plays an essential role in shaping the university’s strategic agenda.
“This forum serves as an initial platform to discuss the future direction of UIN Jakarta through leadership strengthening, governance improvement, and institutional readiness in facing the dynamics of higher education,” he said.
The Pre-Rakerpim will be officially opened by the Rector and attended by university leaders, including members of the Senate, Vice Rectors, Deans and Vice Deans, the Director of the Graduate School, Heads of Bureau, Heads of Institutes, Center Directors, and leaders of various units and business entities within the university.
The first day will feature a panel session with national speakers, including the Rector of Universitas Negeri Jakarta, the Director General of Islamic Education of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and representatives from Universitas Indonesia, who will share perspectives on higher education transformation, governance reform, and internationalization strategies.
In addition, six thematic commissions will conduct parallel discussions focusing on key institutional priorities, including Green Campus development, bureaucratic reform in preparation for PTNBH status, unit business development, internationalization, research and community service enhancement, and digital transformation of campus systems.
On the second day, each commission will finalize its strategic recommendations, which will then be consolidated in a plenary session as part of the university’s policy formulation process for 2026.
Through this agenda, UIN Jakarta reaffirms its commitment to strengthening institutional governance, improving competitiveness, and accelerating its transformation toward a globally competitive university.
