UIN Jakarta to Explore and Established Cooperation with PT Telkom

Conference Room, UIN News Online - UIN Jakarta will explore new opportunities of cooperating with PT Telkom in order to Improve Internet network services for teaching and learning. The meeting was held on Tuesday (10/4) in UIN Jakarta Conference Room and was attended by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Dede Rosyada MA, Vice Rector of Cooperation between the Institute Prof Dr Murodi MA, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni Prof. Dr. Yusran Razak MA, the dean of faculties, UIN Jakarta Bureau and division heads, and some employees of PT. Telkom South Tangerang.
In his presentation, Yesi Jamal, Technical Manager of PT Telkom Indonesia explained that Telkom has coherent programs with educational institutions. “We have three appropriate programs, among them are ICT for Education, Indonesia ICT Update and Indi Campus (Indonesia Digital Campus),†he said.
He also added that PT Telkom would provide access to e-Journal, Q-Baca, and Q-Journal that is expected to support the teaching and learning process and to facilitate the academicians of UIN Jakarta in accessing the scientific journals.
On the same occasion, rector expressed his appreciation toward the cooperation plan; he expected that the cooperation could improve the internet facilities at UIN Jakarta. He also added that this cooperation will be able to support the realization of Diploma Supplement Certificate (SKPI), which will be realized by UIN Jakarta in this year.
“We expected that Telkom would be able to provide scientific training to the students of UIN Jakarta.†Said Rector. (lrf/ika p/umar)
