UIN Jakarta to Build New Campus Building

Rectorate, UIN News Online – After successfully built new campus building for the Faculty of Literature and Humanities (FAH) at Jl. Tarumanegara, Pisangan, Ciputat Timur, UIN Jakarta planned to build more campus building, located in front of Madrasah Pembangungan (MP) UIN Jakarta.

It was conveyed by representative officer of PT Yodya Karya (Persero ) consulting firm during his presentation in rectorate building, Thursday, (4/13). Present in the event, Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Dede Rosyada, Vice Rector for General Administration Prof Dr Abdul Hamid, Dean of th Faculty of Economics and Business Dr Ali Mufraeni, Planning and Financing Bureau Chief Drs Subarja MPd.

The 5-6 storey building with modern architectural concept will be built in 7500 square meters area, and will be used for the Faculty of Economics and Business.

“The funds will be derived from the Sharia Sovereign Bonds (SBSN) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs 2017 fiscal year,” said sub division head of home affairs Abdul Halim to UIN News Online.

The new building is planned to accommodate 1,500 students. In addition to classes, the building will also be equipped with parking facilities, offices, lecturer offices, and bathrooms as well as praying room.

“Insya Allah, the construction will be start between May or June,” said procurement service unit head Dr Agus Budiono. (usa)
