UIN Jakarta temporarily closes its academic services

Rectorate, UIN News Online – To ensure the safety of academic community, UIN Jakarta will temporarily close all academic and administration services starting on Friday, March 20 until Tuesday, March 31, 2020. This decision was taken after a limited meeting involving the leaders of the UIN Jakarta Rectorate and Senate in the Rector's Building, Thursday (03/19/2020), following the latest developments of the COVID-19 outbreaks in the country.

“The leadership of UIN Jakarta has agreed to set the following policies. First, the UIN Jakarta Campus will temporarily closed its services starting on Friday 20 March 2020 until Tuesday 31 March 2020, and campus sterilization activities will be carried out,” said the Rector said as quoted in the letter.

Furthermore, during this closing period, the leadership determines all employee, student, and lecturer activities carried out from their home (working from home/WFH). Therefore, the leaders of UIN Jakarta urge all academic community to stay in their home to prevent the spread of the virus.

“Furthermore, if the employee has important matters from the office, may come to campus with his supervisor's permission directly. “This notification must be implemented by all academicians and UIN Jakarta employees,” she continued.

All leaders and Senate members of UIN Jakarta appealed to all academic community follow all health protocols. The synergy of all community members in maintaining health is expected to be an effective anticipation of the spread of this virus.
