UIN Jakarta Strengthens Health Profession Integrity through Pharmacist Oath Ceremony

Harun Nasution Auditorium, UIN Online News — The Pharmacist Program of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta held the Oath-Taking and Inauguration Ceremony for its 15th batch of pharmacists on Wednesday (22/10/2025), at the Harun Nasution Auditorium.

Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D., extended his congratulations to the new pharmacy graduates who officially took their professional oath.

“I would like to congratulate all pharmacy graduates who have just taken their oath as pharmacists. But before that, I have to break the good news. The world of work can no longer be approached solely with discipline and academic credentials. It now demands workers who are intelligent, adaptive, and creative,” he expressed.

Meanwhile, the Dean of the FIKES, Prof. Dr. apt. Zilhadia, M.Si., highlighted that completing the pharmacist professional program marks both an achievement and the beginning of a new phase for UIN Jakarta graduates in the professional world.

“I'm glad that you've made it this way. Many shed tears along the way, and their parents’ prayers accompanied them through a long and challenging path. Therefore, you must continue to create and contribute—guided by the oath you have just taken,” she hoped.

Head of the Pharmacist Program, apt. Puteri Amelia, M.Farm., Ph.D., explained that the oath-taking ceremony symbolizes the culmination of a long academic journey that involved rigorous study, practice, and examinations.

“Today is a historic milestone in your lives as pharmacists. Remember that your dedication will ease people’s burdens, bring peace, and spread Allah’s mercy,” she noted.

Representing the graduates, apt. Dzikrilhakim Muhammad, S.Farm., expressed his gratitude for the opportunities, mentorship, and support received throughout their academic journey.

“We express our deepest gratitude to the Rector of UIN Jakarta and all academic leaders for providing us the opportunity to learn and grow in this beloved campus. Our sincere thanks also go to our lecturers and teaching staff for being patient mentors and exemplary figures who have guided us tirelessly,” he remarked.

He also extended appreciation to his fellow graduates for their solidarity and perseverance throughout the pharmacist studies.

“Thank you guys for standing together and supporting one another until we reached this sacred moment. May our paths always remain connected wherever life takes us,” he closed.
