UIN Jakarta Showcases 2026 Admissions Pathways at MAN 4 Jakarta's Safari Campus

South Jakarta, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta participated in the Safari Campus 2026 event held at MAN 4 South Jakarta in Pondok Pinang, Kebayoran Lama, on Wednesday (21/01/2026). The event served as a strategic platform connecting universities with senior high school students, providing insights into higher education opportunities and university admissions for the 2026 academic year.

Held under the theme "Exploring Possibilities Beyond the Classroom," the event featured Zaenal Muttaqin, M.A., Head of the Center for Information and Public Relations (LP2M) at UIN Jakarta, as the university's representative. During his presentation, he introduced the various admission pathways available for the 2026 intake, including merit-based admissions through SNBP and SPAN-PTKIN, test-based admissions via UTBK-SNBT and UM-PTKIN, as well as the Independent (Mandiri) Regular Admission scheme.

Zaenal also highlighted UIN Jakarta's academic strengths as a leading State Islamic University that integrates Islamic studies with science, technology, and the humanities. He introduced students to the university's scholarship opportunities, internship programs, international collaborations, and student mobility initiatives, all of which generated considerable interest during the presentation and discussion session.

The session was met with enthusiastic participation from the students. Twelfth-grade attendees actively raised questions about selecting the right study programs, career prospects for graduates, scholarship opportunities, and strategies for succeeding in the university admissions process.

Safari Campus 2026 officially opened with remarks from Wido Prayoga, M.Pd., Principal of MAN 4 South Jakarta, who expressed hope that the program would help students make well-informed decisions about their future education.

"We hope Safari Campus will inspire our students to pursue their aspirations, whether at universities in Indonesia or abroad," he said.

MAN 4 South Jakarta is one of only four National Excellence Madrasah Aliyah designated by Indonesia's Ministry of Religious Affairs to implement the National Flagship Program. The other participating institutions are MAN 2 Kudus, MAN 2 Malang, and MAN 2 Makassar.

In addition to UIN Jakarta, the event featured representatives from numerous prominent national and international universities, including the University of Indonesia, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Universitas Padjadjaran, Tokyo International University, BINUS University, Al-Azhar University Indonesia, and Kyoto University of Advanced Science.
