FEB, UIN News Online – Sharia Banking department of The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta in collaboration with US Embassy and American Corner invite an American Muslimpreneur Mohamed Geraldez to give a public lecture entitled “Future Business Opportunities in Halal Banking and Economyâ€, at Theatre room of FEB UIN Jakarta, Wednesday, (2/8).
The public lecture was opened by FEB Deputy dean of Academic Affairs Dr Amilin attended by a number of Sharia Banking Students.
Mohamed Geraldez, as quoted from his personal website, is a successful American Muslim entrepreneur, public speaker and investor in a few different industries. He has served as an advisory board member to several entities like the Information Technology Consulting Firm, GeniusCo, and the American Muslim Consumer Confrence roup that hosts the most important yearly gathering that connects leading American corporations with American Muslim entrepreneurs, companies, businessmen/women and investors.
“He is very experienced. Therefore, we invited his as a guest lecturer on Sharia Banking department,†said the Sharia Banking department head Cut Erika Ananda F, MBA.
Currently, Geralez was raising the capital and looking for more investors to bring his newest and most challenging endeavor, ReCenter Finance. Previously, he served as the first Executive Director for Co-Founder, Dr. Sherman Jackson’s ALIM Program where strategies are being developed for the future of Islam in the modern world. (usa)
