UIN Jakarta sends international community service program participants
Rectorate, UIN News Online – Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis send off the International Community Service Program, KKN Kebangsaan and KKN Mandiri participants, at the Main Meeting Room , campus I of UIN Jakarta, Friday (07/12/2019). Also present in the event, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Zulkifli, Vice Rector for Student Affairs Masri Mansoer, and head of Center for Community Service (PPM) UIN Jakarta Kamarusdiana.
Rector in her remarks said that a KKN activity is a form of dedication of university, especially students to the community. “Students must be able to cooperate, to serve the communities by providing excellent service in accordance with their respective knowledge,” said Amany.
Meanwhile, head of PPM UIN Jakarta Kamarusdiana in his report said that three KKN groups will be dispatched in Malaysia with 27 participants, Turkey (1 group, consisting of 2 participants), India (1 group, consisting of five participants), China (1 group, consisting of three participants), and Thailand (1 group, consisting of 7 participants). While the two groups in Medan and Ternate each amounted to 10 participants and five participants.
He also said that this activity was a form of non-regular KKN program. For regular KKN activities, the participants will be deployed in two districts, namely Bogor, West Java, and Tangerang, Banten. Each region is divided into 100 groups or villages.
“Both regular and non-regular KKN programs will be carried out on July-August, 2019,” he said. (usa/ns)
