UIN Jakarta Resumes its Activity After Eid Holiday

Rectorate, UIN News Online – Eid holiday came to an end on Sunday as routine office activities began from Monday (05/09/2022). Based on UIN News Online observation, the busiest activities of employees are seen in the Publication and Documentation Section or Public Relations Office of UIN Jakarta. Until this news was revealed in the afternoon, the Public Relations office was almost never empty of visitors.

“Public relations services continue to run, especially to serve prospective new students,” said sub division head of Publication and Documentation Of UIN Jakarta Muhammad Furqon.

According to Furqon, the Public Relations office on Monday (05/09/2022) was immediately flooded with visitors. Understandably, because during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, the office is still closed and there is no service available.

“Our PR team has just been busy since the first day of work on Monday,” he said.

The same can be seen in the Academic Section. In this unit, employees seem to be busy serving student administraition.

Head of the Academic Section Feni Arifiani when met by BERITA UIN Online in his office said that the busyness in the academic department was not only in student administration services but also because there would be several big events that will be held in UIN Jakarta.

“This May, we will hold the inauguration of six new professors and conferment of honorary doctorate (DR HC) to the former Minister of Religius Affairs, Lukman Hakim Saifuddin,” said Feni.

Similar busyness is also seen in other work units, such as in faculties and institutions. At the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK), for example, busyness has been evident since the morning.

The Dean of FITK Sururin, who had entered work that day, seemed to be busy with activities. Even with some of her employees, she had time to go around the rectorate to conduct silaturahmi with the academic community of UIN Jakarta. (ns/usa)
