UIN Jakarta Rectors Swears In New FISIP Chief Administrator to Accelerate Cross-Sector Talent Mobility

Diorama Room, UIN Online News – The Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, Ph.D., officially inaugurated Nilam Nur Azizah as the Chief of Administration (Kabag TU) for the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP). The high-level executive transition ceremony was held at the Diorama Hall, located on the ground floor of the Harun Nasution Auditorium on Thursday, July 2, 2026.

The official administrative placement is executed based on the Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 041962/SJ/B.II/KP.07.6/06/2026. Prior to assuming her strategic post at FISIP UIN Jakarta, Azizah—who holds the premium civil service rank of Senior Administrator (Pembina IV/A)—served as the Chief of Administration at the Center for Leadership Management Competency and Religious Moderation Development under the National Agency for Religious Moderation and Human Resource Development.

The inauguration process initiated with the formal reading of the Ministerial Decree, followed by the official administrative oath administered directly by the Rector. Through this statutory pledge, the incoming executive affirmed her professional and ethical commitment to uphold state regulations, maintain absolute corporate ethics, and execute administrative duties without abusing institutional power.

Azizah reinforced these operational principles by signing a formal Integrity Pact, declaring her readiness to hit the key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the university board. This ethical commitment directly aligns with UIN Jakarta's core institutional vision: “Innovation, Green, and Humanity”.

During his executive address, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar delivered highly substantive directives outlining the university's performance expectations. He welcomed the incoming administrator by framing the university as a long-term professional home.

“First, welcome to UIN Jakarta. This university is your permanent home, not a temporary transit station. I sincerely hope you drive your professional career here until retirement. Because this institution is our home, we must maintain its integrity together. If there are structural errors, correct them, and if there are operational inefficiencies, streamline them,” the Rector asserted.

Furthermore, the Rector reminded the assembly that public sector leadership positions carry a transcendent, ethical value that must be closely guarded by state officials.

“Executive leadership is a form of public devotion. Therefore, do not measure your administrative dedication merely by financial compensation,” he emphasized, urging the new chief to channel her administrative power entirely toward institutional acceleration.

Acknowledging that the operational velocity of a major research university might vary from ministerial central bodies, the Rector highlighted the critical importance of cultural adaptability and corporate synergy.

“The professional culture at UIN Jakarta may differ from your previous station. I highly encourage you to integrate the best administrative practices from your past tenure into our system, while discarding the inefficient ones,” he noted.

He concluded his address by illustrating the required team pace at the faculty level through a dynamic operational analogy.

“If the organizational pace here demands a high-speed sprint, you must sprint alongside the team. Conversely, if you observe the current pace slowing down, it is your executive responsibility to drive the team to run faster,” the Rector concluded.
