UIN Jakarta Receives Three Stars Rating from QS
Rectorate, UIN News Online – London based consultancy Quacquarelli-Symonds (QS) has given UIN Jakarta three out of five stars in its Stars University Rating. According to https://www.topuniversities.com/qs-stars/qs-stars/qs-stars-ratings-explained, university with a three-stars rating is nationally well recognized, and may have also begun to attract international recognition. This institution maintains a reputable level of research and its graduates are attractive to employers.
This acquisition was delivered directly by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Dede Rosyada MA in the XIV Plenary Session of the Rector and Senate of UIN Jakarta, Tuesday, (8/8/2018).
“Alhamdulillah, after a series of assessments, UIN Jakarta receives three-stars from the QS,” said Rector.
Rector explains, UIN Jakarta recorded a perfect five-star rating in Inclusiveness criteria, four-stars in the teaching and employability criteria, three-star in facilities and social responsibility, two-star in internationalization and program strength criteria.
This acquisition aligns UIN Jakarta with several other universities in Indonesia, namely Universitas Andalas, Universitas Binus, Universitas Telkom, Universitas Udayana, UII, UPI, USU, and Universitas Brawijiaya. In the context of the Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKI), UIN Jakarta was the first PTKI to get three-stars from QS Rating.
For information, QS Stars is a rating system which allows students to get a wider picture of an institution’s qualities, looking at everything from the employability of graduates, facilities and community engagement.
