UIN Jakarta Receives the Best Research Proposal Award

Serpong, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta receives the best Research proposal award for Religious Islamic Higher Institution (PTKIN) in Indonesia. The award was given during the opening ceremony of the Annual Conference on Research Proposal (ACRP), held by the Directorate of Islamic Religious Higher Education (Diktis), Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) in Serpong, Banten, Wednesday (09/18/2019).

The award for UIN Jakarta was given by the Director General of Islamic Education Kamaruddin Amin to the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of UIN Jakarta Zulkifli. Also present at the event were the Director of Diktis Arskal Salim, and the leaders of PTKIN (UIN / IAIN / STAIN) and PTKIS.

Separately, the Head of Center for Research and Publishing UIN Jakarta Imam Subchi said that UIN Jakarta had sent 121 research proposals to the Ministry of Religious Affairs. However, out of 121 proposals, only 105 proposals received the best award.

“This shows that the lecturers and researchers at UIN Jakarta are serious in conducting various researches,” said Imam.

In 2018 there were at least 323 published research results, both in the form of scientific journals, papers, and textbooks.

This year, there were 21 scientific journals by lecturers and researchers included in the Science and Technology Indexing System (SINTA) and 21 scientific journals registered with the Ministry of Religious Affairs Reference (MORARef).

The ACRP Forum in Serpong was held for three days on 17-19 September 2019. The academic forum presented the research proposals of participants from PTKIN / PTKIS in Indonesia who will conduct various researches in 2020.

The ACRP, which was held for the third time by the Ministry of Religion, is one of the best forms of research proposal assessment from each PTKIN / PTKIS in the fields of research, scientific publications, and community service. (usa/ns)
