UIN Jakarta ready to bring medals home from the IPPBMM VIII in Yogyakarta
Yogyakarta, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta is targeted to bring many medals home from the Student Talent Development Week (IPPBMM) VIII which will be held at UIN Yogyakarta on June 21-25, 2021.
This was said by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis on the sidelines IPPBMM VIII opening ceremony at the Prof Dr HM Amin Abdullah building, UIN Yogyakarta campus, Monday (06/21/2021).
“Insha Allah, the UIN Jakarta contingent bring many medals home from the IPPBMM VIII event,” aid Rector.
She also believes that the ability of the UIN Jakarta contingent in IPPBMM VIII can be competed with other contingents. Moreover, the participants already have readiness before participating in the competition, both physically, mentally and in the material of the competition.
Therefore, the Rector hopes for support from the academic community so that the UIN Jakarta contingent can bring home the trophy.
Previously, Rector Amany Lubis had released the UIN Jakarta contingent for the IPPBMM VIII on Saturday (06/19/2021). Also present in the event, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs who was also the leader of the contingent Arief Subhan, Head of Student Affairs division Ikhwan, and Head of Sub Division of Student Development and Talent Arief Aryanto Aryadi.
Vice Rector of Student Affairs who is also the leader of the contingent Arief Subhan in his report said UIN Jakarta sent as many as 95 people to participate in the IPPBMM VIII, consisting of 43 male athletes and 37 female athletes, a contingent leader, five coaches, eight officials, and a medical worker. Competition activities take place both offline and online.

For information, IPPBMM VIII throughout Java and Madura at UIN Yogyakarta was officially opened by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Religion, Nizar Ali. This achievement competition was attended by 18 contingents from various state Islamic religious universities (PTKIN). (usa/ns)
