UIN Jakarta-PT Pertamina Establish Cooperation
Jakarta, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta and PT Pertamina have agreed to establish cooperation on Certified Student Internship Program (PMMB)-BUMN. The agreement was signed by UIN Jakarta’s Vice Rector for Student Affairs Masri Mansoer and HR Director of PT Pertamina Koeshartanto, at PT Pertamina’s head office, Jl. Medan Merdeka Timur A No. 14, Jakarta on Monday (03/04/2019).
The event was also attended by representatives from 19 other universities, such as UGM, UNPAD, ITB, and Trisakti University. UIN Jakarta is the only PTKIN who participated in this PPMB program.
UIN Jakarta Vice Rector for Students Affair Masri Mansoer said, this collaboration was an opportunity for UIN Jakarta students to actualize their knowledge and skills acquired during their study time.
“They will gain knowledge of the real-world work environment, learn valuable communication and leadership skill, obtain experience, and gain reference for the future career choices,” said Masri.
On the same occasion, HR Director of PT Pertamina Koeshartanto explained that since the beginning of 2019, PT Pertamina has accepted 121 Internship students, they will be placed in the PT Pertamina offices throughout Indonesia.
“Hopefully, they can develop the company by exploring, providing innovation and serving the entire community in Indonesia,” said Koeshartanto.
For information, UIN Jakarta is the only Islamic Religious College involved in this program. In 2018, UIN Jakarta has sent 78 students to work in 17 BUMNs. PT. Pertamina itself allocated three students of UIN Jakarta to participate in this internship program. (usa)
