UIN Jakarta Prepares 2025 Ambassadors to Be Excellent Campus Representatives

Diorama Room, UIN Online News – The selection process for UIN Jakarta Ambassadors 2025 entered a crucial stage with the first briefing for semifinalists held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the Diorama Room, Harun Nasution Auditorium.

The briefing, which ran from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM WIB, was attended by selected semifinalists who had passed a series of initial selections. This activity aims to equip participants with knowledge, communication skills, and campus insights that will be essential for their role as campus ambassadors.

Head of the Academic, Student Affairs, and Cooperation Bureau, Dr. Hj. Sri Ilham Lubis, Lc., M.Pd., opened the event by appreciating the semifinalists and the organizing team. "First, I want to congratulate the semifinalists of the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Ambassador 2025 selection. I also appreciate the Public Relations implementers who have initiated this selection activity on a larger scale than in previous years," she said.

She further expressed her hope that the chosen ambassadors would be ideal representatives of the campus. "These ambassadors are expected to be the mirror of UIN Jakarta, those who can voice and become the mouthpiece of the university both internally and externally. They are sons and daughters who are expected to perform, achieve, and bring pride to UIN Jakarta at national and even international levels," she added.

Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ali Munhanif, MA, Ph.D., emphasized the important role of UIN Ambassadors as the face of the campus in the public sphere. "Congratulations to the semifinalists who have passed the selection process. This is where you are tested as students with diverse skills in the context of performance, appearance, and representation of UIN Jakarta. UIN Ambassadors are the gateway for people to get to know our campus," he stated.

Additionally, Prof. Ali stressed that besides academic achievement, campus ambassadors must possess managerial skills, intellectual tradition, and a strong vision and mission to be publicly conveyed.

The briefing covered several key topics, including: UIN Jakarta Ambassador 2025 Interview Preparation, Oral Techniques in Public Speaking, Introduction to UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, and Language Diplomacy I and II.

With the provisions provided through this activity, it is hoped that the semifinalists will be able to demonstrate their best capacity as representatives of UIN Jakarta students who are Smart, Active, and Inspiring.
