UIN Jakarta plans to construct new campus building

Diorama Room, UIN News Online – In order to stay competitive, UIN Jakarta plans to construct new campus building for the Faculty of Health Sciences in 2022. The construction of the FIKES building is in accordance with the scheme of the Indonesian Ministry of National Development Planning / Bappenas. The construction is planned to be carried out will at Jalan Kertamukti, Ciputat.

The plan was revealed during a hearing session between the leadership of UIN Jakarta and the Director of Higher Education and Science and Technology, Indonesian Ministry of National Development Planning (PPN) / National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Tatang Muttaqin in the Diorama Room, Friday (04/30/2021).

According to Tatang, construction plan is still under in-depth study. “There are still many things that must be prepared,” he said.

Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis hopes that the construction of the Fikes building can be carried out as planned. Because after separating from the Faculty of Medicine (FK), the Fikes lecture building needs further development.

“We hope that all plans can be realized, because Fikes needs a more representative building for its lecture activities,” said Rector.

On the Same occasion, the Dean of FIKES UIN Jakarta Zilhadia also said that the construction plan of the Fikes building was based on the high enthusiasm of the community to study at Fikes UIN Jakarta.

“In addition, this is also in accordance with one of Fikes goals, namely to become one of the globally recognized faculties of health sciences,” said Zilhadia. (usa)
