UIN Jakarta Plan to Build Low-cost Apartment for Students
Academic Building, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta planned to build low-cost apartement (Rusunawa) in Jalan Kertamukti, campus 2 of UIN Jakarta. Groundbreaking development will be done Tuesday (07/24/2018) by PT Wijaya Karya Pembangunan Bangunan Tbk, one of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).
Sub-division head of home affairs UIN Jakarta Abdul Halim to UIN News Online on Monday, (07/23/2018) said, the construction of Rusunawa is a part of UIN Jakarta’s effort in providing better service to students who need a safe and comfortable place to live. The construction of Rusunawa building is the result of cooperation between UIN Jakarta and Indonesia’s Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing (PUPR).
The Rusunawa will be equipped with bedroom, bathroom on each floor, study room, lobby room, kitchen, balcony, and meeting room with PT Parigraha Konsultan as a consultant.
The groundbreaking ceremony will be attended by Rector of UIN Jakarta Dede Rosyada, South Tangerang Mayor Airin Rachmi Diany, and PUPR Ministry officials.
"In the meantime, Rusunawa will be prioritized for international students from various countries," said Abdul Halim. (usa)
