UIN Jakarta Opens LPDP Scholarship and Grants LoA for Its Application

Rectorate Building, UIN Online News - The Education Fund Management Institution (LPDP) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia has reinstated scholarship options for students pursuing studies at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.  UIN Jakarta offers eight postgraduate programs (7 Master's and 1 Doctorate) eligible for LPDP financial assistance.

The LPDP stated on their website that scholarships are offered as a commitment to foster the development of future leaders and professionals via scholarship programs. This initiative aims to foster innovation by providing research funds to achieve a prosperous, constitutional, and modern Indonesia.

"LPDP supports Master's and Doctoral scholarship programs for Indonesia's most exceptional talents and endorses additional scholarship programs conducted by associated Ministries and Agencies," he said.

In 2025, LPDP will launch plenty scholarship programs, including Regular Scholarships, World Class University Scholarships, and Partial Scholarships. Scholarships are available for students at both international and local universities.

UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is among the designated universities for scholarship allocation in national higher education via the affirmative scholarship program, as well as partial, regular, and PNS & TNI-POLRI scholarships.  In these two initiatives, LPDP provides scholarships for eight Master's and Doctorate degrees.

The specifics are as follows: the Master's Program in Islamic Religious Education and the Master's Program in Arabic Language Education at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching as well as the Master's Program in Arabic Language and Literature and the Master's Program in Islamic History and Culture at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities. The Master's Program in Religious Studies at the Faculty of Ushuluddin and the Master's Program in Sharia Economic Law at the Faculty of Sharia and Law. The Master's Program in Islamic Studies and the Doctoral Program in Islamic Studies at the Graduate School.

The LPDP will commence scholarship selection registration from January 17 to February 17, 2025, as indicated on the same website. Registration runs online at the LPDP Scholarship Registration website https://beasiswalpdp.kemenkeu.go.id/index.php/site/login

Additionally, UIN Jakarta itself issued a special letter regarding the acceptance of LPDP scholarship. In this case, UIN Jakarta is ready to provide Letter of Acceptance for LPDP scholarship applicants if they have already passed the selection process for new student admissions for Master's and Doctoral programs.

For this reason, prospective students are invited to first register for the Master's and Doctoral programs designated for scholarship selection through the admissions page https://spmb.uinjkt.ac.id/spmbv2/home.zul. “Prospective students who have passed the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta's New Student Admission will be granted with LoA for LPDP Scholarship registration,” he explained.

Specifically related to the registration of Masters and Doctoral programs for the LPDP scholarship application, UIN Jakarta has set a registration and selection schedule that all applicants must consider to as follows:

• Registration and Payment: 3 - 5 February 2025 (08.00 GMT)
• Language Test: 7 February 2025
• Academic Potential Test (TPA): 10 February 2025
• Interview by Study Program and Faculty and Postgraduate School: 11 February 2025
• Processing of test results and determining graduation: 12 February 2025
• Official announcement with Rector's Decree: 13 February 2025
